Expect the Impossible

Last Friday, I picked up my mom from the airport. You may say, well that is great; so what is so special? Well, my mom arrived at the check-in desk in Surinam two hours too late. Everybody, who has ever checked in Surinam knows that chances of you getting into the plane is very, very small. Especially when the plane is about to leave. My mom was lucky that a steward just happened to be coming out at the desk and my mom was able to quickly check in and board immediately.

My mom arrives about 9 hours later at the international airport of Amsterdam, Schiphol. Every trip to the Netherlands have gone without any problems. I never listened to the broadcasting, but just now I did. And would you know, I heard my name and I was able to get to the immigration office and pick up my mom. The immigration officer was nice and needed verifications from me. My mom drives home happily and learned something very important from God. When God is with us, we can expect the impossible. That is how God is glorified. There are many more true stories I could write of God's provision for our family. I can only say, expect the impossible and be amazed. There is so much freedom in knowing that God is in control.

Thank you, my precious Father, for taking care of me and my family. You are so good. Your love endures forever! Amen.
